Sign up now to be a volunteer at the 2024 OPTIMIZE conference, the world stage for innovation and aging, taking place Oct. 24-25 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky! 

 

Volunteering at OPTIMIZE is a fantastic experience. You'll get to meet great people and contribute to creating a phenomenal event. When you are not volunteering, you'll be able to enjoy conference sessions and networking events free of cost! 

 

Volunteers ensure the event runs smoothly by assisting our teams with setting up prior to the event, cleaning up after, running mics, checking in attendees at the registration desk, greeting both the attendees and speakers, checking badges, and providing hospitality during after-conference events. 

 

If you have a can-do attitude, relish in helping people, don’t mind tackling jobs both small and large, and do it all with a smile on your face, we invite you to apply to volunteer at OPTIMIZE!

  • What are the volunteer opportunities/days/times?

    Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024 

    • 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. EDT (conference setup and supply transportation)
    • 6 to 8 p.m. EDT  (greeters at welcome reception)


    Thursday, October 24, 2024

    • 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT + additional evening hours

    • 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT + additional evening hours 
  • Where is the volunteer location?

    Setup volunteers on Wednesday, Oct., 23, will transport supplies from 201 E. Jefferson St. Louisville, KY 40202 to KICC. 



    Regular conference volunteer hours (Oct. 24 & 25) will take place at the Kentucky International Convention Center.



    Evening volunteer hours will take place at ancillary events held at off-site locations in Louisville. 

  • What are the volunteer time/hours requirements?

    We ask each volunteer to sign up for a total of 4 volunteer hours during the 3-day event. Each shift is time-blocked in 2-hour increments. We ask each volunteer to sign up for no less than two shifts (4 hours total), but you may sign up for more if your time allows.  

  • What do volunteers receive?

    Volunteers receive a T-shirt, FREE ticket to OPTIMIZE, swag bag and the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, entrepreneurs, innovators and some of the largest names in healthcare. 

  • How do I sign up to volunteer?

    Volunteer applications may be submitted via this form. The form will ask questions that will help us assign you to the best volunteer station(s), including:

  • How will I know if my application has been approved?

    Someone on our team will follow up with you via email with the mandatory orientation schedule and registration information. Remember, OPTIMIZE volunteer slots are limited, so we encourage you to apply ASAP! 

  • If my application is approved, when will I know my exact role?

    Once the OPTIMIZE agenda is finalized, someone on our team will follow up with you to provide additional details monthly leading up to the event.
